Because it's only posted on wintercompanion so far and I suspect a lot of people will miss it there - go now and read dameruth's Even the Damned. Jack/Ten hurt/comfort, spoilers for Children of Earth, and the perfect post-episode fic. It even includes an incredibly plausible explanation for the Doctor's absence which is now my canon.
